Missed Classes, Refunds & Calamity Days

There are no pro-rated fees or refunds for any missed classes. Students are allowed to make up any missed classes in another same or lower class level, provided that they are registered in that discipline. Please note that calamity days are already built into the schedule. Classes cancelled due to inclimate weather or teacher illness may not necessarily be re-scheduled, although students are welcome to make them up.

Withdrawals

The office must be notified immediately via email or phone call if a student must withdraw from a class before the 1st of the month to avoid your card being charged. Until such time, the space will be held for the student and the charges invoiced to the parents.

Unforeseen Extended Closures

In the event of a state mandated extended closure, SIDC will resume all classes via Zoom. Please see our Studio Policy on the Parent Portal for more information.

Drop-In Classes

Drop in class prices are available, please contact us if interested.

OUR TUITION CONSISTS OF 9 EQUAL INSTALLMENTS

(SEPT-MAY)

REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY WEEKS ARE IN A MONTH.

Monthly tuition payments are setup to be easy and consistent and are not based upon the number of classes during a month but rather on the number of classes during the entire session. The tuition and monthly class amounts have already accounted for scheduled studio closings, calamity days, and observed holidays.

Monthly Tuition

Tuition will be posted to your account on the 25th and deducted the first day of the following month. Auto-Pay is required upon registration and all families must keep an up to date credit or debit card on file through the Parent Portal.

A $35 NSF fee will be charged for any declined card payment.

New students are required to pay a $25 registration fee or $40 per family before classes begin.

SIDC does not offer any refunds. This includes but is not limited to: Registration Fees, Costume Fees, Competition Fees, Tuition, Late Fees, Recital Tickets, Misc. Fees, Dancewear, and all other fees acquired to your account.
